APRIL 2017 –  On April 29th, TruSister Soirées hosted our inaugural Meet & Greet Brunch for The BrideSisters Collective. After months of interacting in our Facebook group, members finally had a chance to mingle, in person, over mimosas and brunch.  With the help of our wonderful vendors, our brunch was something hoped for, but nothing like we imagined.  

The BrideSisters Collective is an intimate, and safe space for women to connect and share stories of love and trials of marriage, and give advice and support to each other, promoting a successful wife-style. The closed Facebook group consisting of women of all ages and various backgrounds and wedding professionals, has grown to almost 200 members nationwide within the first 6 months, since October 2016. It is dedicated to wedding planning, and building successful marriages.

We met at the Le Voute Bar+Bistro, inside the LeBanque Hotel of Homewood, IL. This luxurious gem was all the rave with the BrideSisters.  The sisters were greeted with mimosas and delicious treats from our premier vendors.  It wasn’t long before conversations sparked and the ladies dived right into various topics. Giving opinions and intense testimonies on the trials and joys of being engaged and married, they left no stone unturned. As women, we are all connected by our experiences in love and relationships. We have the ability to turn our stories into life lessons for others, and each one can-and should, be celebrated and appreciated.  I am amazed and humbled for this experience, and can’t wait to see what’s in store for this collective.
